Chamber Leader Supports Second Street Two-Way Traffic

The president of the Chillicothe/Ross Chamber of Commerce says a proposal before Chillicothe City Council to make another change to traffic flow in the city's downtown area, would be a big help to downtown business.

Council will consider changing Second Street, between Mulberry and Walnut, to a two-way street, rather than one way.

Davies supports the proposal, saying it would make navigating the downtown area easier for both residents and out of town visitors.

Davies says changing the traffic flow along that portion of Second would be a boon for local businesses, and would also cut down on potential accidents when unaware drivers proceed down Second Street in the wrong direction, an occurrence that Davies says takes place daily.
