Hillsboro Junior quarterback Mason Swayne rushed for 285 yards and 4 touchdowns in the first half to help lead the Hillsboro Indians to a 57-7 victory over Williamsburg at Richards Memorial Field in Hillsboro.
Swayne scored on runs of 66, 42, 67 and a final run of 98 yards on the last play of the first half.
The Hillsboro rushing attack accounted for 422 yards in the first half alone and a total of 588 yards for the night to lead the Indians to a 3-1 record after four games.
Williamsburg (1-3) moved the ball in spurts against the Indians, accumulating 301 yards of total offense, but had trouble getting the ball into the end zone.
Hillsboro travels to Clermont Northeastern next Friday night before opening Frontier Athletic Conference play on September 29th at Chillicothe.
