Paints Fall to the BlueSox 6-5

The Chillicothe Paints took on the Butler BlueSox Thursday evening, at Kelly Auto Park in Butler, Pennsylvania. In a game that lasted 2 hours 48 minutes, the Paints fell to the BlueSox 6-5.

Butler was first on the scoreboard, with two runs in the bottom of the 2nd. They added one in the 3rd and two more in the 5th. Chillicothe didn't score until the top of the 6th, bringing four runners across home plate. The Paints added one more run in the 8th to tie the score at 5, but the BlueSox were able to cross home once more in the top of the 9th to steal the game 6-5. The Paints had 5 Runs 10 Hits and 2 Errors while the BlueSox has 6 Runs 10 Hits and no Errors.

The Chillicothe Paints (13-8-0) will play the Butler BlueSox (9-11-0) again Friday evening, at Kelly Auto Park, with first pitch at 7:05 PM. 

In other games, Danville topped Quincy 8-4, Lafayette defeated Terre Haute 9-5, Champion City took down Springfield 10-2 and West Virginia beat Kokomo 14-5.
