The Chillicothe Paints took on the Terre Haute Rex Saturday afternoon, at VA Memorial Stadium. In a game that took 2 hours 25 minutes to play, the Paints beat the Rex 5-3.
Terre Haute started out strong, scoring all 3 of their points in the top of the first. The Paints got on the board with one run in the 2nd. The Paints then brought three runners across home plate to take a 4-3 lead over the Rex. The Paints brought one more home in the 4th to take a two point lead over Terre Haute. Neither team crossed home again throughout the rest of the game. The Paints had 5 Runs 8 Hits and 3 Errors, while the Rex had 3 Runs 9 Hits and 1 Error.
The Chillicothe Paints will take on the Champion City Kings (9-7-0) Sunday, with first pitch at 6:05 PM, at VA Memorial Stadium.
