Paints Fall on the Road 3-2 Against the Kings

The Chillicothe Paints (8-5-0) played the Champion City Kings (7-6-0) at Davidson Stadium, in Springfield, Tuesday. In a game that took 2 hours 26 minutes, the Paints fell to the Kings 3-2.

Both teams achieved their runs in single innings. The Kings scored first bringing home 3 runs in the 3rd inning. The Paints brought home their 2 in the top of the 7th. The Kings didn't add to their score in the bottom of the inning and neither team crossed home in the 8th. The Paints weren't able to score with their last attempt in the top of the 9th, ending the game. 

The Paints will take on Terre Haute (7-6-0) Wednesday, at home. First pitch is at 7:05 PM at VA Memorial Stadium.

In other games Springfield beat Terre Haute 9-8, West Virginia took down Butler 13-10, Kokomo defeated Lafayette 4-2, and Danville topped Quincy 7-0.
