The Chillicothe Paints (7-3-0) played the Kokomo Jackrabbits (4-6-0) again Friday evening, at VA Memorial Stadium. In a game that took 2 hours 57 minutes, the Paints weren't able to carry-over Thursday night's momentum falling to the Jackrabbits 8-1.
Kokomo was able to score twice in the 1st inning, but no one was able to cross home again until the 5th. The Jackrabbits brought 4 runners home in the top of the inning, and the Paints brought home their only run of the night in the bottom. Holding a 6-1 lead over the Paints, the Jackrabbits didn't score again until the 9th inning bringing two more runners across home plate to seal an 8-1 lead over the Paints. Chillicothe had 1 Run 6 Hits and 3 Errors while Kokomo had 8 Runs 12 Hits and 1 Error.
The Chillicothe Paints will take on the Champion City Kings (5-5-0) at Home Saturday, with first pitch at 7:05 PM. The Paints will be on the road Sunday and Tuesday playing the Kings at Carleton Davidson Stadium, in Springfield.
