Chillicothe's newest specialty shop downtown is the Tecumseh Trading Company at 13 East Second Street.
Scioto Society President and CEO, Brandon Smith says the shop will normally be open until 6pm, however Wednesday (May 10), they'll be open till 8pm for wine and cheese and live music.
The start of the grand opening brought nearly 200 visitors over the first two hours.
The shop features Native American arts and crafts, Ohio made products and custom made jewelry that cannot be found at the gift shop at Sugarloaf Mountain. There are even books from playwright Allan W. Eckert's personal library.
Visitors can also purchase tickets for the Outdoor Drama performances and other events on the Mountain like Haunted Mountain and this summer's three Bluegrass Concerts.
The next grand opening will be for the 2017 production of Tecumseh! on Friday June 9th. The Outdoor Drama runs through September 3rd.
