The Ross County Heritage Center showcased their displays and hospitality in the March “Business After Business.” In addition, the Chamber highlighted their magazine that promotes the quality of life in this area.
A benefit of membership in the Chillicothe Ross County Chamber of Commerce is the monthly “Business After Business.” Various members host the Wednesday after-hours congregation that offers food, conversation, door prizes and raffles, and a tour of the facility.
The Ross County Historical Society hosted the event on March 20 in their meeting hall, but also opened the rest of the museum to their guests.
The Heritage Center is part of the amenities of the area showcased in “Ross County Insider,” the new version of the annual membership listing and promotional publication by the Chamber.
I asked Chamber president and CEO Mike Throne about that change in format, and he said one of the problems of print is that it immediately starts going out of date. So, the publication reads more like a magazine, but offers a QR code to scan and find an up-to-date Chamber member listing and regional data.

The Heritage Center is not open Monday, but with their April through December schedule, they are open 1pm to 5pm Tuesday through Saturday (closed on major holidays).
