The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers local union 575 shared an endorsement of the state approval of the Yellowbud Solar project in Deerfield and Union townships in Ross County, and Deercreek and Wayne townships in Pickaway County.
They say the project will result in hundreds of construction jobs, which studies have shown that for every construction job created within a community, one additional job is supported.
IBEW Local 575 says the benefits from the Yellowbud project go beyond jobs as the project will generate significant revenue for local schools and local infrastructure projects.
