A couple of downtown Chillicothe businesses are moving their shops to larger venues. Chillicothe’s Market #9 in September moved into the former Schlegel’s Coffee location at 80 North Paint Street, re-branding itself as The Market at Schlegel’s. Maria Cunningham, the operator of the Market, says the new location has allowed them to up their offerings to customers, while still providing the same service as Schlegel’s.

The Market’s former location at 9 West Second Street will soon offer a new, larger location for Wheatberry Books. Matt Bruning, co-owner of Wheatberry with his wife Chelsea, says they started their move Friday from their address at 41 South Paint Street.

Once moved in to the new location, Matt says there will be a lot more floor space for its literary offerings. It'll also provide customers a little more area to move around, and allow for more space during special events.
