Legislation on a couple of points has been delayed by Chillicothe City Council in order to get more comment from the community.

Mayor Luke Feeney says this type of delay, is sometimes a good thing for the long run, to make sure citizens have as much information as possible before the city commits to spending tax payer dollars.

One such current matter is where city council pushed the pause button on an ordinance concerning water rate changes, to get clarification on who is responsible for paying a water bill when the tenant skips town without paying it.
