A large amount of meth, along with other drugs, has a Chillicothe man in jeopardy of 12 years in prison after Friday's Ross County Grand Jury.
According to the Ross County Prosecutor's Office, on October 24th the Ross County Sheriff's Office heard that 36-year-old Malcolm Russel of 304 Riverside Street was trafficking methamphetamine.
He was found in the identified car, along with others, all of whom were described as making furtive movements" after being pulled over for a traffic stop.
Two bags of suspected meth were found near Cornell, and other passengers said they were his. Cornell admitted to selling - but because he was not found in the act, he was charged with aggravated possession - of more than 93 grams of meth.
For indictments on that and another drug case from April 24th, Cornell could get up to 12 years and $27,500 in fines.

Ignoring an order to pull over put a Ross County man in the ditch after a high-speed chase, and liable for $10,000 in fines.
According to the Ross County Prosecutor's Office, 25-year-old Craig B. Leeth was stopped in the middle of Paint Street after he was reported yelling at a woman behind the Dock on Water the night of May 15th. With bloodshot eyes and slurred speech, he said he was going home, which was 70 Alum Cliff Road. He didn't make it.
He committed multiple traffic violations and reached 90 miles an hour on city streets...before being stopped by a ditch on Belleview Avenue. Alcoholic drinks were found in his Chevy Trail Blazer
For an indictment on failure to comply, Leeth could get up to 3 years and $10,000 in fines.
