Persin Lands Boys Basketball Coaching Job at Lucasville Valley

The third winningest coach in Ohio boys basketball history, is not retiring after all. Norm Persin has been hired as new head boys basketball coach at Lucasville Valley High School.

Persin resigned at Oak Hill, following the 2019-20 season, where he won his only state title back in 2009.

Persin, who was a long-time coach at Chesapeake High School, also coached at Wilmington and later Oak Hill. Between 1977-2019, Persin has 766 career wins.
