Ross Grand Jury Indicts for Interfering in High School Basketball Game

A Londonderry man has been indicted by the Ross County Grand Jury for interfering in a high school basketball game and assaulting two officers in early December.

According to the Ross County Prosecutorā€™s Office, 19-year-old Aarick E. Hill, of Londonderry, is alleged to have wandered out onto the court during the game, disrupting both players and fans, in a boyā€™s high school basketball game between the Unioto Shermans and the Zane Trace Pioneers at Unioto High School on December 10th.

The Prosecutorā€™s Office says two Ross County Sheriffā€™s Deputies attempted to remove Hill from the building, and he's reported to have fought with them, assaulting them in the process.

Hill faces two fourth-degree felony counts of assault following Fridayā€™s Grand Jury session. If convicted, he faces anywhere from 6 to 18 months along with a $5-thousand fine.
