Uptick in Ross County COVID Cases

The Ross County Health District is reporting an uptick in local COVID cases.

On Thursday, the District reported 24 new reported cases with 57 reported hospitalizations in Ross County.

The total number for new cases for July stands at 77. That’s up from the total case count of 43 for the month of June.

State health officials are reporting more than 1,200 new positive tests for COVID-19 across Ohio on Thursday.

According to the latest update, there were 1,205 new positives for a decrease of over 250 cases from numbers reported on Wednesday.

The ODH also reported 80 new hospitalizations and six ICU admissions.

Vaccinations also increased with more than eleven-thousand more doses being administered.
