Southeastern Football Ends Season In Loss to Alexander

The Southeastern Panthers rolled-up 232 rushing yards in their 2020 season finale, but gave up 420 total yards to Alexander in a 34-22 loss, Friday.

Both teams traded leads in the first half, with the Panthers taking their last lead at 22-16 with 3:15 left in the first half. But, from there, all of the scoring belonged to the Spartans.

Alexander tied the game at 22-22 less than two minutes later, which remained at halftime.

The Spartans two second half scores also went unanswered, lifting them to the win, to improve to (2-6).

Alexander's 420 total yards came with 306 rushing and 114 in the air, while Southeasterns 232 rushing yards were the lion's share of their offense with only 42 passing.

Jaggar Cain of the Spartanscran 9 times for 174 yards and two TD's, with Southeastern senior running back Mikey Nusser toting the ball 27 times for 173 yards and two TD's.

The Panthers committed 5 turnovers to 4 for Alexander.

Southeastern's season ends at (1-6), stating they will not schedule any more football games this fall.
