A fatal UTV accident claimed the life of a Scioto County man on Tuesday.
According to Scioto County Sheriff Marty Donini, his office was called to the scene of the accident on Wrights Run just after 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7th after a 911 call to county dispatch.
Once on scene, first responders found Donald E. Webb, 63, of McDermott pinned underneath of the vehicle. An investigation revealed Mr. Webb had been thrown from the UTV after the driver lost control and the vehicle overturned.
Mr. Webb’s body was transported to the Coroner’s Office in Montgomery County where an autopsy will be performed.
The vehicle’s driver, Mark A. Ferguson, 50, of Arlington, was arrested and charged with aggravated vehicular homicide and OVI.
