Furloughs Likely For Some Adena Health System Employees

Adena Health System CEO Jeff Graham has stated that Adena will likely make an eventual decision to furlough nonessential employees to limit financial shortages due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Adena Health followed the guidance from the Center for Disease Control by canceling all elective surgeries and procedures, which comprises a big chunk of the hospitals income. As a result, the health system has experienced significant financial strain. Graham made the comments on a video on the hospital’s website.

Fayette County Memorial Hospital in Washington Court House has already announced 71 furloughs at their site.
