A Chillicothe man has been hospitalized after his disabled vehicle was struck by another car.

A caller reported that a Toyota was disabled on the exit ramp from US Route 23 northbound to State Route 159 followed by another caller that reported another car driven by 42-year-old Karla Wise of Chillicothe struck the Toyota.

Upon arrival on scene at 8:05pm, troopers discovered the owner of the Toyota, 67-year-old Roger Detty, also of Chillicothe was lying in the roadway beside his vehicle.

Detty was initially transported by MedCare Ambulance to Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was later transported by MedFlight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

Wise was transported by Springfield Township EMS to Adena Regional Medical Center.
