Early Morning Semi Fire Blocks Route 35 For Several Hours

Motorists heading westbound on U.S. Route 35 were blocked for several hours early Wednesday, due to a semi-truck fire.

Details are sketchy at this time, but the semi was disabled at approximately around 12:30am, and traffic was not opened until about 7am.

Two motorists told iHeart Media News that they sat in traffic for up to six hours without moving at all.

A dispatcher at the Ohio State Highway Patrol office in Jackson, confirmed traffic was moving again as of 7:15am.
