Chillicothe Council Set To Pass Sewer Increase, Act on Western Fire Station

Chillicothe Council meets in regular session at 7:30 Monday night with an agenda of nine items.

Among those at third and final reading are ordinances to raise the sewer rate, and to complete land acquisition and to plan for building a new west side fire station.

Under first reading are ordinances to to appropriate $12,000 for demolition and cleanup of noncompliant properties, and to allow an easement agreement with Atomic Credit Union for their proposed office at Western Avenue and Limestone Boulevard.

Two committees will meet before the council session:

At 6:30, City Service will discuss purchase of the "Pepsi" property and a computer for the city service department.

Immediately following, Safety Service will discuss funds for outside contracts for Municipal Court, and to finalize planning for locating the Law Director's office in old City Hall.
