A local man died in an accident at an Ethanol Plant in Indiana, Wednesday morning. The Wells County coroner identified Ryan West, 42, of Bainbridge, as the victim.

Police in Bluffton, Indiana, said West died after being trapped in a piece of equipment at the Valero Renewable Fuels plant.

West, who was contracted through Diversified Industrial Services, was reportedly conducting maintenance on the equipment.
