Chillicothe Council Approves Bigger Downloads for Law Director

Monday evening, Chillicothe Council voted to help law enforcement with bigger bandwidth.

.

Law Director Sherri Rutherford explained why council approved almost $3,700 on first reading for her office. She said the Ohio State Highway Patrol used to provide body camera videos on CD-ROM's. Now they're through internet links...and she says Chillicothe Police and the Ross County Sheriff will do the same soon.

.

The body camera and other videos are evidence for their attorneys and counsel.

.

Now after shopping around, she expects to almost triple their internet speed through Horizon with the same that they supply to police and city administration.
