Chilllicothe Grad Graduates Basic, Ready to Serve in the U.S. Air Force

A Chillicothe High School graduate has completed her basic military training, and is now ready for duty in the United States Air Force.

U.S. Air Force Airman Essence R. Devlin recently graduated from an eight-week basic training program at the Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas, which included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Her completion of basic earns Airman Devlin four credits toward an associate in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force.

Airman Devlin is the daughter of Eric and Tonya Devlin of Chillicothe. She is the granddaughter of Charlie and Kathy Sims of Chillicothe. She is a 2017 graduate of Chillicothe High School.
