Fayette County officials say a Menards manufacturing and distribution plant is coming to the area.
The Fayette County Rural Zoning Commission has approved the rezoning of 150 acres on State Route 41 near Jeffersonville. The parcel of land is located between Parrott Station and Creamer roads.
The facility would include a concrete plant, truss plant and wood treatment plant, employing up to an estimated 150 people. These products would be distributed to various Menards stores throughout the midwest.
