Health officials say positive tests have returned, locally, for mosquitoes with West Nile Virus. Officials with the Ross County Health District said they were notified by the Ohio Department of Health on Tuesday that 4 locations where mosquitoes had been trapped tested positive for West Nile Virus.

Those locations included: Warner Avenue and Page Road in Chillicothe, Taylor Road within the Paint Creek Campgrounds, and Broadway Street in South Salem.

Health officials said there have been two reported human cases of West Nile Virus in Ohio so far this year, with one being from a Ross County resident.
