Landscapes and Spookiness Among Pump House June Show

Two artists share the Pump House show this month.

Lanny Stout says he's hard to pin down since he likes both 2-D and 3-D art...but he recently got interested in "gourd art."

Stout says he he's been an artist all his life, drawing on the back of his grade school papers and having his own comic strip.

His works on display show color, architecture...and spookiness.  He says he grew up during 1960s monster craze, and still "loves scary stuff."

Keith Jones has 36 photos in the show.  He says he picked that up in high school with his mom teaching photography at Bishop Flaget.

Jones says he was born and raised in Chillicothe.  Many of his prints are local landscapes, where he has stopped his car when he saw a good scene.

All but one of his prints are for sale.  He feels sentimental about a photo of blues musicians.

The show runs through the end of the month.
