Two Seriously Injured When Motorcycle Hits Pickup

Two individuals on a motorcycle were hurt in a two-vehicle crash in Jackson, Friday.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Robby Eynon, 42, of Jackson, was riding a motorcycle on Beaver Pike at 7:10 p.m. when he rear-ended a pick-up truck driven by Gary Walters, 65, of Beaver.

Originally, iHeart Media News inaccurately reported that Walters rear-ended the motorcycle, when it fact, it was the other way around. (Our apologies to Mr. Walters on this error)

Authorities say both Eynon and his passenger Karen McElroy, 36, of Lancaster, were ejected from the bike.

The pair was flown to Cabell-Huntington Hospital in West Virginia for incapacitating injuries, authorities said.
