A resurfacing and bridge repair project on U.S. 50 in Ross County gets underway late this week in the area of Slate Mills. Officials say crews will be resurfacing about eight miles of roadway from just west of Bourneville to Veterans Parkway in Chillicothe.
The project will require a closure of U.S 50 at the Deputy Lawrence Barnes Memorial Bridge at Slate Mills starting at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 14, and continuing until 6 a.m., Monday, July 17.
A local detour will be established.
