The Cavaliers hosted a Quad Swim Meet at the Ross County YMCA Saturday. The Boys were second place finishers to Washington Court House while the Lady Cavs came in third.
Both Chillicothe teams had three event champions each.
The Cavs will be in the pool again Saturday January 26th at Rio Grande.

The Chillicothe Wrestling team finished 3rd out of 14 teams at the Amanda Clearcreek tournament finishing behind second place John Glenn and tournament champion Amanda Clearcreek.
Coach Mike Peck was happy with his team’s performance despite having a number of wrestlers out with injuries or sickness.
The Cavs won two weight class championships with Nick Lawhorn (106 Class) and Christian Collins (160 Class). Both wrestlers finished 5-0 on the day.
Collins may have had the match of the day for Chillicothe when he broke a 1-1 tie by a takedown with 35 seconds remaining. Collins won the match with Amanda’s Steven Fearnow 3-1.
Brothers Caleb (132 Class) and Jacob Price (138 Class) were 4-1 on the day placing second in their classes. Caleb’s loss was in overtime, 6-4.
The Cavs travel to Hamilton Township this week for the first round of the State Dual Meet with Circleville and then Saturday the annual McDonald’s Classic at Miami Trace High School.

The Cavalier Bowling teams split their matches with the Lancaster Golden Gales Saturday at Tiki Lanes in Lancaster.
The Boys fell 2304 to 2162. Trevor Chaney led the Cavs with a 408 series.
The Lady Cavs were 1770 to 1757 winners. Summer Finley led Chillicothe with a 406 series.
Both teams resume action Thursday at Shawnee Lanes with Zanesville at 5pm.

In Basketball, the Lady Cavs lost at Jackson 58-38.
