The Lady Cavs had trouble with Dublin Jerome's Abby Haab in a 4-1 loss Tuesday.
Jerome scored two runs early and Haab did the rest.

"We put ourselves in bad situations by looking at a first good strike... kind of a little tentative, it really wasn't quite 'us'." said Cavs coach Greg Phillips.

Hosting the lower seeded Celtics, Chillicothe struck out 8 times through 5-innings and only had two base runners.

Phillips adds "I don't think the moment was too big for us... we were just out of sync with the sticks, and that's pretty much where the game was won and lost."

That changed when Hayley Robinson hit a bunt single down the 3rd base line. She would score on Rylee Boullion's 6th inning double. Those were the Cavs only hits if the game.

The Celtics put the game away in the top of the 7th by loading he bases on three straight singles with no one out. Jerome got the separation they needed with two additional runs.

The Cavs finish the season 19-6 overall and 6-4 in the SEOAL.
