Chillicothe's Bryan Stark has committed to play Soccer at NAIA Shawnee State.

Stark said he had a tough decision because "It was between Shawnee and Findlay. I don't want to say it was 'love at first sight' but Shawnee just really impacted me."

Stark said he wasn't even going to go to a tryout out at Shawnee, but his mom convinced him to go. "I had an indoor game that night and I was like 'I'm already going to Findlay, so I'm just not going to go'... they had my major, and I really like the campus, and it was a heck of a lot closer than Findlay."

Stark was the Cavs' second leading goal scorer during a 16-0 regular season which included the program's first SCOL Soccer championship.

Stark plans to major in Sports Management which he says could lead to his becoming a coach or even an athletic director.

"Soccer's been basically my largest passion my entire life... I could be completely content, by myself, just shooting at a goal all day long."
