Chillicothe got career nights by Eddie Wells and Nate Rosenbauer in a 57-47 win at Ironton Saturday night.

Wells followed up Friday’s double-figure night with 18 points and Rosenbauer dropped in 16.

The win evened the Cavs record at 5-5 while Ironton is still in search of its first win on the season at 0-11.

Chillicothe trailed only once and led by as many as 12 points in the 3rd quarter.

Ironton was led by Tristan Cox with 18 points. The Tigers were just getting Phillip Kratzenberg back in the lineup following a shoulder injury. The point guard had 12 points.

The biggest improvement for the Cavs from Friday was at throw free throw line. After hitting just 17-of-30 against McClain Friday, they knocked down 14-of-16 including a stretch of 11 straight in the second half.

The Cavaliers will host SCOL rivals Miami Trace and Washington CH this Tuesday and Friday respectively.
