Ross County Health District Gives COVID Update

The Ross County Health District says it recorded a total of 123 new Coronavirus positive tests over the weekend, with only three coming from congregate settings such as prisons and long term care facilities.

That pushed Ross County’s total to 5,005. The State Health Department presumes 4,015 of the county’s positive patients to now be recovered, which leaves a little less than 1000 cases in Ross County that could be considered active. The COVID-related death toll in Ross County stands at 87.

The Ross County Health District has begun accepting registration for COVID-19 vaccinations for those who are age 65 or older in Group 1B. They can reach the district at 740-779-9652.

Teachers and school staff in Group 1B should contact their school administrator if they’re seeking vaccination.
