The Chillicothe City Council Parks and Recreation Committee is considering a request for legislation to appropriate $250-thousand from the City’s General Fund to the Parks & Rec Fund for the purpose of carrying out renovations at the Armory in Yoctangee Park.
This would only be a advancement to the Parks Rec Fund. The money will be replaced once the Parks & Rec Department receives money from a recently awarded grant.
The City is required to pay the full amount in advance before the renovations can begin.
