A young man was involved in a two-vehicle crash in Pike County last night in a literal hit-and-run.
The Highway Patrol reports 18-year-old Haydon Campos of Chillicothe was eastbound on SR 552 in a 2006 Pontiac G6.
At about 11:30pm a 2001 Ford F150 driven by an unknown male was westbound and went left of the center line and struck Campos' car. The driver of the Ford fled the scene on foot.
Campos was transported to Adena Pike Medical Center by Pike County EMS, and later transported by ground to Grant Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Pee Pee Township Fire Department assisted at the scene.
