Five police and sheriff's cruisers were on the scene at the Western Avenue McDonald's after an intoxicated woman refused to pull over.
In their daily report, the Ross County Sheriff's office notes that a bartender in Jerry's West at 21 Star Drive realized Lori Ann Waigand was already intoxicated when she ordered a beer Friday night.
The waitress refused to serve her so Waigand called the Sheriff's office, and was escorted out...but took a beer from another table and drove back into Chillicothe from near Stone Ridge Drive.
The waitress reported that and Waigand was stopped at about 8pm after she failed to respond to an officer's signal lights and turned into the drive-through of McDonald's.
The Sheriff's deputy reports Waigand will be charged with disorderly intoxication for the incident at the bar.
