Chillicothe City Transit is updating and expanding their services, routes, hours and days to about 75% of the capacity they were- prior to the COVID-19 stay at home order being implemented.
Transit Operations Manager Dave Peterson says they have great confidence in their ability to serve and protect their drivers and riders. Riders will have to wear masks, but the city has also added protective driver shields to the bus, and every bus will be cleaned when it gets back to the terminal.
No fares will be charged and riders should call the Chillicothe Transit System with questions or concerns at 740-773-1569, choose option #1

Monday-Friday Schedule
ROUTE 1: 6:00am, 8:00am, 10:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm, 4:00pm, 6:00pm, and 8:00pm
ROUTE 2: 10:30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm, and 4:30pm
ROUTE 3: 7:00am, 9:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm, 5:00pm, 7:00pm, and 9:00pm
ROUTE 3.5: 11:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm, and 5:30pm
VA ROUTE: 7:30am and 4:00pm
COUNTY ROUTE-BAINBRIDGE: 6:00am and 6:00pm
COUNTY ROUTE-FRANKFORT: 8:00am and 4:00pm
COUNTY ROUTE-MASSIEVILLE: 9:30am and 6:00pm (combined w/6:00pm Bainbridge Route).
PARATRANSIT SERVICES: No change in service. Call to make/change/cancel appointments at 740-773-1569, choose option #1
DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED ROUTES: No change in service unless we are notified by provider/passenger.
