Chillicothe Transit Now Requiring Face Masks

Chillicothe Transit System reports they are are closely following the CDC’s guidance to reduce the spread of Coronavirus, and will require customers to wear masks beginning Monday.

Transit Director Donna Vernier reported that masks can be either medical or homemade and can include scarves or bandanas, and must fully cover the nose and mouth.

She also says all transit vehicles are sanitized in between trips and nightly using CDC approved sanitizing solutions. Areas customers routinely come in contact with - including handrails, handles, seats, pull cords, windows and doors - are sanitized using sanitizing wipes.
