The Annual South East Ohio Forest Rally featuring speedy rally cars will be next Saturday, May 18th, with the staging area at the Vinton County Airport.
The public is welcome to the airport to watch as cars come and go and mechanics work on them. You may also have the opportunity to talk with some of the drivers.
A variety of foods will be available during the day and airplane rides by Harry Sowers of Hocking Hills Scenic Air Tours will be available at $30 a seat.
The race takes place on rural, forest roads. The Vinton County Airport is located about 6 miles north of McArthur just off St. Rt. 93 on Airport Road.
