Local non-profit Little Blessings is celebrating its first anniversary.

Founder Corrine Woods, Chillicothe Police Detective Bud Lytle and Little Blessings Board member Joe Weathersbee look back on the group's first year of service to the Chillicothe community and give a look ahead to 2017.

Corrine's a driven Chillicothe Middle School student with a heart for helping Chillicothe Police and Ross County Sheriff Department K-9 Units.

Lytle talks about how vital Little Blessings has been to the local K-9 Units and shares his "dunk tank" experience at the Little Blessings Back-to-School Blast last August, an event which will take place afgain this August.

Little Blessings will hold another Waggin' Walk with dogs this June.

Weathersbee, a retired Chillicothe Police Officer talks about the group's "Yard Dog", the newest fundraising project featuring the scarecrow dog from last October's Downtown Associates' Scarecrow contest. If you'd like to share a Yard Dog experience, Joe says to call 740-649-4776.
