The Annual Ridgetop Music Fest/Big Boy Toy Day will be held at the VintonCountyAirport Saturday, August 16, with music beginning between noon and 12:30 p.m. The event is free and food from the airport’s shelter house will be ready for serving at 11 a.m.
In addition to the music, an old car show will be organized by workers from Sojourners Care Network. There will be several classes of vehicles so watch for more information as the event nears.
The day will include not only music and old cars, but also a skydiver, airplane rides, and more which has not yet been announced. The area around the airport terminal will be available for vendors to display and sell their wares at no cost to them.
Several musical acts have already committed to perform at the music fest, but more musicians are always welcome.
