Adena Mansion and Gardens announces Living History Sundays: Step back in time as the historic estate of Governor Thomas Worthington comes to life on Sunday, July 13th, and August 10th from 12pm to 4pm.
Visitors will enjoy a wide array of interpretive experiences at the historic site including the museum, tenant house, barn, and gardens as well as Governor Worthington’s mansion. In addition, costumed interpreters will present living history vignettes, historical talks, and demonstrations throughout the estate.

Adena Mansion was the home of Ohio’s sixth governor, Thomas Worthington. Adena Mansion and Gardens Society manages the site on behalf of the Ohio Historical Society. Adena is located at the south end of Adena Road, off Pleasant Valley Road, which is the first road off State Route 104, just north of the US 35 interchange at the north edge of Chillicothe.
