(College Station, TX)  --  Texas A&M will start Saturday's game against Rice without quarterback Johnny Manziel.  TexasAgs.com reports the NCAA is suspending the reigning Heisman Trophy winner for the first half of the season opener against the Owls.  Manziel has been under investigation for allegedly signing autographs for money, which is a violation of NCAA rules.  According to the report, all indications are Manziel was not found guilty of signing for money and that the suspension is for a secondary rules violation.
