A Columbus granite company is stepping up to fix a Korean War Memorial that has some historically inaccurate facts.

The Chillicothe Memorial shows tanks and guns that didn't exist during that war.

And it also does not recognize some local veterans. After hearing about it, employees at Tecstone granite in Columbus stepped up to help.

They've offered to fix the monument for free.

The Veterans Council has to approve allowing Tecstone to help.

The employees say they may have to wipe the granite clean and start over.
