Authorities say two people were arrested following a drug raid in Bainbridge, Thursday. According to Ross County Sheriff George Lavender, the warrant at 4853 Jester Hill Road led to the discovery of items consistent with heroin trafficking.
Authorities say the resident 33-year-old Latisha Penwell was not home at the time but was pulled over in a traffic stop. A search of her vehicle reportedly yielded drug abuse instruments and suspected heroin.
Authorities say Penwell was arrested for possession of drugs and tampering with evidence, while 40-year-old River Weber, who was at Penwell's home at the time of the search, was arrested on a warrant from PikeCounty.
