Investigators are seeking public information regarding a PikeCounty fire they believe might have been set to cover up a burglary. According to the Division of State Fire Marshal, investigators have evidence that points to arson at a temporarily vacant home at 15965 U.S. Highway 23 in Waverly. Investigators say the blaze took place at 4:19am, February 2. 


A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by the Blue Ribbon Arson Committee for information leading to the identification of those responsible for the fire.
