Pike County authorities say an investigation of a tip about stolen property yielded several stolen goods. Sheriff Richard Henderson says deputies went to the Pleasant Hill Road home of Mark Cydrus, Thursday, on a tip he had a stolen log splitter on his property.
Deputies reportedly found the log splitter as well as a stolen four wheeler and a utility trailer that had the serial numbers removed.
The Sheriff says Cydrus was charged with receiving stolen property.
In a separate case, the Sheriff says his office was investigating a tip of a stolen camper and found a meth lab hidden behind it, Monday. The Sheriff reports Timothy Brown, of Owl Creek Road, was seen trying to leave his home and was driving under suspension and in an unregistered vehicle.
Brown admitted to bringing the stolen camper to the property and was arrested for receiving stolen property and tampering with evidence, according to the Sheriff.
The Sheriff says additional arrests and charges a possible pending lab results from the meth lab.
