The Child Protection Center is holding their annual 5K on New Years Day, in the Park, starting at The Pump House. The race will begin at 9am on January 1st. All are welcome to come, runners, joggers and walkers alike.
The money raised in the race will be going to the CDC. They are a protection agency that helps children that have been physicaly and sexually abused as well as neglected.

The cost to participate is $20, they will be giving away winter hats, door prizes and they will be providing hot chocolate.
