Second-half real estate tax payments for Ross County are due Friday, July 11th.

With one week till the due date, County Treasurer Jerry Byers is reminding taxpayers that missing the deadline will mean paying more. Ohio law requires the treasurer to add a 10% penalty to all payments received after the due date except for payments that are postmarked by the due date.

Starting Monday the treasurer’s office will stay open longer with hours from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. through Friday, July 11th.
